Blog Update!

Welcome spring! It’s been a long and cold winter; I am soooo grateful to see some green covering the ground and blooming in the trees. Now I’m ready for some colorful flowers!

As I mentioned in an earlier post I took a few months off. However during that time I am proud to have been a part of the fundraising efforts for Jordan Creek Elementary and the Creative Center for Young Children. In February of this year I donated a portrait session and complimentary 8x10 with 100% of those profits going toward those organizations. I am grateful to be a part of those organizations who nurture our children and future leaders.

As Mother Nature makes our world more beautiful each day it’s time to take advantage of her beauty! I love spring and summer photo sessions, there are so many opportunities for stunning portraits with Iowa’s beautiful wildflowers. Spring/summer birthdays? Record the precious moment in photographs. “Cake smash” sessions are adorable and a wonderful way to record your little one’s birthdays. Balloons also make for very fun portraits! Birthdays only happen once a year so be sure to record them with custom portraiture. These birthday portraits make great birthday card invitations or thank you notes for party goers.




Seniors – it’s time to schedule for senior portraits. We’ll have a great time photographing your teen in their own style, at a location that they choose with as many clothing changes or props as they would like. The result will be stunning portraits unique to them! The first senior to schedule a session by September 1st will receive 16 complimentary wallets. Hurry and schedule your senior session before this special is taken!

Hosting or attending a baby shower? Gift certificates for a maternity or newborn session make unique and memorable gifts for any expecting mother. Maternity

Hello everyone! It's been awhile since my last post but I'm here!! This is one of my lovely former co-workers and her sweet husband. They were my first couples maternity session and we had a great time! It was so easy and comfortable working with them even during some intimate posing. She's got such warmth and confidence, and look at those incredible eyes! I kept wanting to get in close and take close up shots of her face she was so compelling. His adoration for her was apparent from the beginning the way he gazed at her during her individual shots. During the couples portion it was clear to me how in love they are; what a warm sweet couple :) Thanks for allowing me to photograph your memories. And congrats on your new baby!
