My Heart...

Have you ever heard that saying "Having a child is like your heart walking around outside your body."? (or something like that). Boy do I feel that way, especially today. This is my sweet baby girl (actually oldest - but always my baby). She's seven years old and I STILL get sad when I drop her off at school. I miss her, especially today. I'm not sure why, but I do. Every day Claire and I drive away from school in the morning and say "I miss Rachel". And we do. We just do.

Sweet Handsome Boys....

Look at those boys' faces, all so different and all full of so much character. Tyler, the oldest, clearly admires his dad and wants to golf just like him. Brock, the middle boy with the shy smile, is going to be a model for Gap jeans. Check out that pose with his hands in his pockets; he needed no guidance from me! Tegan is the littlest little man and has enormous heart-breaker chocolaty brown eyes, and they are only for his mom - for now :)

Another thing about this family - Look at Mom and Dad's laugh - how contagious is that?! I almost wanted to order these for my wall! Scroll down some for more images of this beautiful family.

Wow!

I was privileged to take portraits of this absolutely GORGEOUS senior girl. She was amazing, just amazing. I was in awe (and a bit jealous) of her confidence. She exuded confidence, and even though I'm not her mama I was proud of her for it! You go girl!

Best Buddies

This is the closest brother and sister I have ever seen! Then again maybe they were just buddies in front of the camera or because mom promised them ice cream later :). Nevertheless you could tell by the way they played and loved each other that they adore each other! It was also apparent these two sweethearts LOVE their mama! Jenna picked flowers and pine cones for her mom and Carson just simply wanted to be near her. You can tell there is a lot of love that goes around in this family!

9 month's old now!

Sweet baby Aidan! Mom was worried he would be grumpy as he'd had no nap but you never would have known, he was so sweet! He is so friendly and warms up easily, makes my job a cinch.

I love this baby's smile and his two bottom teeth that peek through. I got to see him try to crawl, it was so cool! I haven't seen that in over 2 1/2 years :(
